Manuscript for private recitation and ritual use and is dedicated to a special 5-faced form of the Hindu monkey deity named Hanuman, who is typically associated with Tantric religion and considered one of the eleven rudra manifestations of the deity Śiva. Mantras within the text are often employed in rituals that symbolically place protect armor over the body of the devotee to protect them against various misfortunes.
