- Presents legends about and praises the importance of the Cāturmāsaya, special four months in the Hindu calendar during the rainy season (Śrāvaṇa-Kārtika or July-November), prescribing special sacrifices to be performed and the benefits that will befall those who perform them. Presented as a dialogue between the deity Varāha (boar avatāra of Viṣṇu) and Dhāraṇī.
