This manuscript is likely Kashmiri in origin and most likely dates to the 19th century.
There are a number of illustrated miniatures with scenes from the Mahābhārata, the titles and opening text of four of the five texts have thick borders and are decorated with floral or shell patterns.
Mistakes covered over in yellow, some corrections in margins, introduction of speech in red ink, orange border surrounding text.
