Summary:

Stotra in praise of the sun god (Āditya, also called Sūrya) framed within the mythological world of the epic Rāmāyaṇa as the story is presented in the Ārṣarāmāyaṇa or Yogavāsiṣṭha. This larger work is a treatise on Advaita (non-dualism) Vedānta philosophy attributed to the ancient sage Vālmīki but composed by an unknown medieval author.
