Summary:

Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a Hindu philosophical treatise that highlights the main teachings of the medieval philosopher Śaṅkarācārya, presenting his ideas about perception of the Self (ātman) and its relationship to consciousness and the manifestation of emotions, desires and the like. Draws from his wealth of interpretive writings on the Upaniṣads, such as the phrase, You are that (tat tvam asi). The work is written from the perspective of the Advaita (non-dualism) Vedanta school of philosophy.
