Summary:

Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a treatise and commentary on a traditional work of praise (stotra) attributed to the Advaita Vedānta philosopher Śaṅkarācārya called the Dakṣiṇāmūrtistotra, dedicated to a form of the Hindu deity Śiva called Dakṣiṇāmūrti. The manuscript also contains a super-commentary called the Mānasollāsavṛttānta by Rāmatīrtha running parallel, above and below the root text.
