Summary:
Manuscript used for private recitation or prayer and contains mantras (words or phrases of power) dedicated to various Hindu deities, especially Śaiva Tantric goddesses. Examples include the Śaktimantra; Śaṅkaravallabhāmantra; Vāgvādinīmantra; Bhairavīmantra; Hrīṁkārīmantra; Tripurāmantra; Parāparamayīmantra; Mātāmantra; and the Kumārīmantra. Also contains a mantra to the elephant-headed Gaṇeśa and others. These words of power are evoked during rites and ceremonies in order to bring worldly benefits to the reciter. Manuscript is incomplete with no foliation.
