Summary:
Manuscript is a manual (paddhati) for consultation by priest or priestly artisan for the purpose of drawing out a sacred diagram (maṇḍala) in a square shape. A number of Hindu and Vedic deities (such as Viṣṇu, Śiva, and Varuṇa) are evoked and installed in various sections of the diagram, typically during fire (homa) rites.
