Summary:
Manuscript for private or public consultation and recitation for the performance and celebration of observances (vratas) and rites offered to the Hindu deity Viṣṇu (called Madhusūdana in the text). These rites are especially auspicious for the removal of great sins (mahāpāpa) and for fasting (upavāsa) during the month of Aśvin (September/October) on the eleventh day of the dark half of the month. Presented as a dialogue between the deity Kṛṣṇa and the legendary king Yudhiṣṭhira, the manuscript consists of 29 verses.
