Summary:
Small manuscript, a kind of pocket guide, for worshiping the Hindu deity Viṣṇu, prescribing various rites, adornments (such as the three stripes on the forehead or tripuṇḍra), and offerings (such as food) to the image of the god. Manuscript is a compendium of verses and highlights from mainly purāṇic sources and includes selections from the Vārāhapurāṇa, Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa, Skandapurāṇa, Agnipurāṇa, Haribhaktivilāśa, and the Bhakticintāmaṇi. Manuscript lacks a beginning.
