Small manuscript used for private reflection taken from the sixth book of the Viṣṇupurāṇa, first chapter. Text explores the topic of the dissolution and end of the four cosmic cycles or ages, specifically the Kali age, considered the most degenerate and final of the four. Presented as a discourse between the legendary figures Maitreya and Parāśara. Manuscript also contains a running commentary situated horizontally above and below the main text of the Viṣṇupurāṇa
