Summary:
Text presents observances (vrata) and rites, in honor and worship (pūjā) of the Hindu deity Śiva. Begins with a meditation describing the physical attributes of Śiva, such as his clothing (made from tiger skin) and his weapons (such as his trident or triśūla). Parts of the text are presented as a dialogue between the Hindu deity Kṛṣṇa and the legendary king Yudhiṣṭhira.

Title derived from colophon (f. 6v), but corrected based on internal colophon (f. 2v).
