Summary:
Text praising the Hindu deity Viṣnu, especially his manifestation as the Man-Lion (Narasiṃha). Contains mythology especially related to the avatāras of Viṣṇu and or a number of related demons such as Hiraṇyakaśipu; there is also a version of the Yamagītā, a song dedicated to the Vedic god of death. There is a contents page/index (anukrama) at the end of the manuscript (f. 150r).
