Summary:

Celebration (māhātmya) and praise (stotra) of the South Indian, Hindu deity Veṅkaṭa, a form of the deity Viṣṇu, using an alternate form of his name Vyaṅkaṭa; as well as a praise of the goddess Lakṣmī, the consort of Viṣṇu. Contains a collection of mantras focused on the meditation of Vyaṅkaṭa. Presented as a discourse between the legendary sages Vasiṣṭha and Nārada.
