Transcript of hearings at which various individuals testified before a committee chaired by Samuel Whitbread concerning Lord Melville's handling of public funds when serving as treasurer of the Admiralty. The transcripts are dated July 2-12, 1805. Every day except the first has the note, "Copy from Mr. Gurney's shorthand notes."
