Record of grant of plenary power to Francesco di Nanni Todeschini Piccolomini, archbishop of Siena (cardinal of Sant' Eustachio, later Pope Pius III). Two notarial statements, each with a different signature, both dated June 4, 1482: the first documents the proposal to give the archbishop full power in hopes of his securing peace and stability; the second records the result of his election by a ballot vote of 323 white against 14 black beans.
