Biography/History:
Possibly a registrar for the papal penitentiary, a council charged with granting absolution for cases under papal authority. At the same time he was proctor of the Duke of Austria at the papal Curia before becoming bishop in Ciudad Rodrigo in 1408.

Treatise on confession and penitence, with a ruling by the penitentiaries in the Roman Curia during the pontificate of Eugenius IV added at the end.
