Satirical songs about politics and women from the 17th and early 18th centuries, including songs by Blot, Benserade, Boussy-Rabutin, and Coulanges, with musical notation, annotations, and corrections. The last item in the volume is a satirical version of Antoine Houdar La Motte's verse tragedy, Inees de Castro, "parodiée en mirliton" (f. 170-180).
