Notes:
Ms. codex.
Collective title from title page for the second opera (p. 33), which was published repeatedly in the 18th century; Zacour-Hirsch supplied the title Opera comiques.
Date estimated from similarity to a 1762 edition titled Le magasin des modernes.
The characters of La bequille du bon homme Barnabas include the philosopher Barnabas, his valet Nicaise, Mercury in disguise, the young shepherdess Colette, and a chorus of shepherds and shepherdesses.
The characters of Le magazin des modernes include Mercury, Apollo, A Poet, La Bagatelle, La Nouveauté, La Rime, and Le Chanteur. This manuscript of Le magazin des modernes differs substantially from the version published by Duchesne in 1758. It is much more similar to the "nouvelle édition" published by Foppens in 1762, although the scene divisions and air tunes vary.
The characters of L'infidélité punie are Scapin, Julie, Eraste, and Spinette.
