Foliation: Parchment, 12; [i], i-x, [xi], in contemporary hand, upper right recto; modern foliation in pencil, lower right recto.
Layout: Written in a single column of 30-32 lines; frame-ruled in red ink.
Script: Written in a humanist script by a single hand.
Decoration: Written in brown and black ink with red used for double ruled margins, initials, and headings. Woodcut stamp of an initial E (f. 1r).
Binding: Contemporary black morocco, elaborately tooled in gold and with the seal of the Holy Office on both covers. Later brass bosses in 16th century style; clasps intact.
Origin: Written in Palencia, Spain on 27 April 1569 (f. 11r).
Worm damage on boards.
