Script: Written in a cursive script, probably by two hands.
Decoration: Painted title page in pink, red, yellow, and green, with a frame of mostly architectural elements and a few botanical elements crowned by small figures labeled "S[anctus] P[ater] Benedictus" and "S[ancta] Catharina" standing on either side of Mary holding the infant Jesus, labeled "Mater Admirabilis" (f. ii recto).
Binding: Contemporary stamped pigskin. The heavier script used for section headings and running heads has bled through the paper on many leaves.
Origin: Written in Graz between 1634 (f. ii recto) and 1635 (f. 259v).
