Layout: Written in 2 columns of 28-32 lines; ruled in ink.
Script: Written in a Gothic cursive script, with the main text in a single hand, quotations (f. 312r-318r) in a second hand, and sermons (f. 318r-322v) in a third hand.
Decoration: Rubricated headings, capitals, initials, and some underlining.
Binding: Contemporary leather over wooden boards, with brass studs.
Origin: Written in Germany in the 15th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
Wrapped in a parchment leaf from Section XV, "De quatuor virtutibus," of the Declamationes de Colloquio Simonis cum Jesu of Geoffrey of Auxerre (Patrilogia Latina, Vol. 184, Col. 447C-447D) with decorated initials in red and blue penwork. - Penn Provenance:
