Early foliation in ink, 143-146; [1-2] 3-43; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto, 29-32, 97-138, indicates these works were once part of a larger collection, or perhaps from different collections.
Layout: Written in 21-22 (f. 1-4) and 28 (f. 5-47) long lines; ruled in lead; prickings visible.
Script: Written in a Gothic book script by two different hands, the first (f. 1-4) from the early 13th century, the second (f. 5-47) from the second half of the 13th century (Zacour-Hirsch); marginal annotations in other hands.
Decoration: Illuminated Madonna and child, in gold, green, blue, red, and black, 8 cm. high (f. 1r); 2- and 3-line initials (f. 1v, 3r-v, 4r) in green, red, and blue; second section rubricated, with red 2- and 3-line initials (f. 5r and 30v).
Binding: Modern leather, splitting at upper hinge, lower cover detached.
Origin: Written in France[?], 13th century.
Heading [?] at the beginning of text (f. 5r) has been cut off.
Bookseller's description pasted inside upper cover.
