Alphabetical index to preparations on f. 122-140. Many of the recipes stem from an "officina Mülhausiana" (f. 27v, today Mulhouse), see the initial "M" and the note "Mülh" throughout. Others are marked "G" or "Gen," probably for Genève.
Notes:
Ms. codex.
Title supplied by cataloger (Rudolf Hirsch notes on file in Library).
Dates in text: 1720 (f. 81r), 1719 (f. 81v), and "paratum mense Aprili 1722 Genev" (f. 82r). A printed dealer's description pasted inside upper cover gives date 1784, but the description does not fit the contents of this volume.

Script: Written in various cursive scripts by several hands.
Decoration: Pen-and-ink illustrations of distallation apparatus "distillatio chymica de cornu cervi" (f. 19r), "distillato chymica de viperis" (f. 48v) and "rectificatio" (f. 50v).
