Foliation and pagination: Paper, ii (modern paper) + 269 + i (modern paper); f. [iii], 1-125, p. [8], 96, [12], 12, f. 126-201, [i]; modern pencil arabic numerals, upper right recto. Folios 113-115, 126, 145 and 172 are blank. The overall foliation scheme only includes the manuscript works; the two printed works between f. 125-126 are independently paginated and were not given folio numbers as part of the overall foliation scheme. Some of the manuscript items are also independently foliated or paginated, in addition to being numbered as part of the overall foliation scheme.
The individual items are numbered 1-14 in modern pencil arabic numerals, upper right recto of the first leaf of each item.
Script: Written in various cursive scripts by many hands.
Decoration: Pencil drawings (f. 88r-91r).
Binding: Rebound in 1966, cloth library binding. These items were first bound together in the late 19th century.
Origin: Written in Mexico from the 17th to the 19th centuries (partly from Zacour-Hirsch).
The items bound in this volume are of various sizes. A few leaves have been folded in order to fit into the volume (see esp. f. 87-91).
Many of the items have leaves with worn, torn or frayed edges. Folio 43 has a tear that was repaired with cellophane tape. The paper is of varying types, but some is fragile. Many stains.
