Foliation: Paper, 155; 1⁸, 2-13¹², 14⁴( -1); [viii], 13-159; contemporary foliation in ink, upper right recto. Gatherings signed with contemporary arabic numerals, 2-13, upper left corner, first recto of each gathering. Catchwords at the bottom right of each verso. First gathering of text after table of contents is missing, so first extant quire is numbered 2.
Script: Written in a cursive secretarial script by a single hand.
Binding: 17th-century Italian cardboard wrapper with woodblock-printed botanical pattern. Wrapper is not attached to book block. Remains of original paper upper cover; lower cover and majority of spine lacking. Sewing of some quires is loose, particularly the last few leaves which are nearly detached and are torn, faded and extremely difficult to read.
