Summary:
Bifolium from a liturgical book on parchment, most likely a gradual. The Latin texts, all of which are in a Gothic hand and set for chant, come from the propers of the Mass for the period from the Saturday after Easter to the vigil of Pentecost. The music is written in Hufnagelschrift notation typical of Germany, on black 5-line staves. The text is decorated with initials that are red, blue, or black strapwork. Foliation in the middle of the right edge on the recto sides may be affected by trimming but suggests the bifolium comprises leaves 89 and 96.
