Overview and metadata sections

Small red leather ledger book comprising the recipes of Louisa Bull dated 1834. The volume contains chiefly culinary recipes for items such as puddings, cakes, meats, and marmalades. There are a few medicinal remedies for ailments such as rheumatism and burns. There are household formulas for cleaning fabrics and other items. Some toiletry recipes for are also included. "Miss Louisa Bull, 1 November 1834, Receipt book" is written on inside front cover. Many pages are blank throughout the volume and the cover is detached.
