The Pennsylvania Higher Education Nursing Schools Association (PHENSA) was established in 1977, as a consortium of nursing education leaders in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The purpose of PHENSA is to exercise responsible leadership in planning and implementing programs for action for the growth, development and advancement of baccalaureate and higher degree nursing programs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
